What are the ingredients?
It contains vitamin C in the ascorbic acid form. What makes it especially unique is that in addition to that form, it also incorporates tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, which is stable, lipid-soluble vitamin C in the ester form. Combined they make a very powerful duo of 15% concentration! I was impressed to see that because this is an extremely strong concentration for vitamin C skin care products.

The vitamin E is mainly in the tocopheryl acetate form. But in addition, it also includes the natural form known as tocopherol. Unfortuantely I was not able to find the exact total concentration of vitamin E, but I’m sure it’s a sufficient amount considering the strength of vitamin C complex they are using.

Who is it for?
This product is geared toward both women and men of all ages. However after reviewing the ingredients, in my personal opinion I feel it would be best for those that are younger to middle aged. The reason I say this is because it does not appear to contain any ingredients which are known for combating deep wrinkles. Therefore I view this is a better choice for preventative and maintenance purposes.

How is it used?
SkinMedica Vitamin C Complex comes in a 1 ounce bottle. Since it is a serum that only requires 3 to 4 drops per use, one bottle can go a long ways. To maximize absorption, it’s best to gently rub the serum into the skin with your fingertips in a circular motion.
