Cellex C Reviews
Founded in 1990, Cellex C is a cosmeceutical company that specializes in, well you guessed it… vitamin c skin care! Since then, their products have received rave reviews across all corners of the globe. However, being that their products aren’t the cheapest around, one has to ask whether or not their products are truly worth the price? Well, let’s find out…
Which products does Cellex C currently offer?
At the time of this review, they have over forty different products in their line, but here are some of the most popular ones:
Cellex C Advanced C Serum: Sold in a 1 ounce bottle, this serum contains 17.5% hydrolyzed L-ascorbic acid as its active ingredient. It also contains zinc and grapeseed extract.
Cellex C Eye Contour Cream Plus: This eye cream also comes in a 1 ounce size, but since it’s a cream it’s in a jar. It uses a 5% solution of L-ascorbic acid.
Cellex C Skin Firming Cream: This cream comes in a larger, 2 ounce jar. Unfortunately I have been unable to track down exactly what concentration of vitamin C this one uses.
Cellex C Body Smoothing Lotion: The nice thing about this product is it comes in a large bottle that’s 180ml (that’s 6 ounces). Of course, with the larger size comes a larger price though. It’s designed to be used on area of the body that suffer the most dryness, like the elbows, neck, etc. It uses a 15% L-ascorbic concentration.
Cellex C Fresh Complexion Foaming Gel: This a 6 ounce cleanser which is best suited for those with oily skin and/or prone to breakouts. I was unable to find the strength used, but being that it’s a foaming wash that is one of their least expensive products, I would imagine it probably uses a lower concentration.
So those are some their bestselling products. Before we get to Cellex C reviews, let’s take a look at the benefits the manufacturer claims:

Well those are some pretty substantial claims the manufacturer is making, right? I decided to hunt down online Cellex C reviews from numerous sources (forums, blogs, review sites) to say see what consumers were saying. Here’s a summary of what I found:
Pros:
One review I read from a lady in Austin, TX said she had been using happily for about ten years now. She likes the fact that the serum is very low maintenance and improved the appearance of both of her skin tone and texture. Many Cellux C reviews I read echoed this same sentiment – that their products do a great job improving tone (including redness reduction) and more youthful texture.
Individual reviews seemed to agree that Cellex C products did an excellent job at minimizing the appearance of pores. This same viewpoint I saw over and over in the reviews.
Cons:
Unfortunately Cellex C skin care products are not the cheapest. However I have been able to find them online for more affordable prices.
All vitamin C has a short shelf life, because it will begin to oxidize once it has been exposed to air. So this is not one of those products you can buy and take your time using. For best results, begin using after you receive it and use regularly until gone.
Verdict
Although I have not yet personally used their products, after reading these reviews they are definitely next on my list. Being that the company has been in business for 20 years tells you something about the quality and effectiveness of their vitamin C skin care products. Since it’s the least expensive, I will probably start with Cellex C body smoothing lotion, but who knows, I may splurge for the Cellex C cream too
